Damn you, WB. Damn you.

I'm sorry, but I'm still thoroughly pissed off at the rescheduling of the Half-Blood Prince film release.

I wonder how much thought was actually put into this decision. Or if anyone thought about how much this affects those outside the creation of this movie. I just remember that HBP was the film chosen for the 2008 Royal Film Performance. What are they going to do now?

I'm so effing bitter about this. >:o

Well, tbh, it makes sense. :( WB has made tons of money off of Dark Knight and nothing big is lined up for next summer. They've got to fill their coffers next year somehow. Their statement about it was basically "this will make more money next year". *_*; So at least they were honest about it.

Yeah, I definitely believe the money bit. I also read an article that pointed out Equus being around the same time as the previous November release, and they didn't want Dan Radcliffe promoting a play in which he appears nude at around the same time he's promoting Harry Potter.

I'm going to go on a limb and assume that when a movie studio delays a multi-million dollar movie til next year...they're most likely put just a little bit of thought into it.

As for the RHP, I imagine they'll just find another movie.

When I said I wondered how much thought they put into it, I was thinking it would seem to me to be wiser to announce something earlier than a couple of months before the release.

But whatever.
